clients in my home?

Do those of you who work in your home with others bring everyone in? Where else do you do your works?
I'm resurfacing in my calling to assist others in transmuting their energy in a joyful and loving direction. As well as getting them in contact with their own soul and "higher self" I asked that the ones drawn to my ad would continue my learning, further me on my path, and connect with me in light and love, and be ready for what I can offer.
The first people I've connected with have been in joyus growth for me and for them. I had a young woman come to my home, and have arranged for another. (Others I've been working with by internet, and phone) I felt very comfortable making the arrangements for them to come.
I got a call earlier this evening from a man who seemed a little confused. He seemed nice, but a little scattered and needy. I'm not trying to judge the space he's in. My sense is that he's not malicious, or violent, but there is some confusion, and neediness.
When it came time to make appointment arrangements I found myself uncertain if it should be in my home. I'm a woman in my early 30's and have 3 small children. My husband might be in the house while my little ones nap during the appointment. I feel safe. I just wonder if this person may not understand clear boundries and may show up again at my house inappropriately. I now have a message from another man, who I need to call back.
I've always felt very safe and confident in my home. I want to assist those who feel I may be of assistance to them. Now I'm uncertain if I should let everyone I work with come to my home.
What do others of you do? Where can you work if you don't bring everyone to your home?

    Shereen,
I have had clients male and female in my home for years. it is up to you to set clear boundaries from the get go. Let people know when and how they can come by. Because the work I do is so transformational and also work ongoing with them to integrate the foundation that produces living and creating from a place of love, trust and abundance. so I let them know that if they need support in between session they can call me. That should they need more than a few minutes reminder then we schedule a session. Communicating how you do business is part of your job. The other advice is trust your gut. If you think it might be a problem then take the time to clarify what you want and don't want.
I have never had a problem because I only schedule sessions with people I sense are willing to do their part in walking a path or personal or spiritual work. Even though my sessions shift people dramatically there is no quick fix and nothing replaces conscious choice, them doing their part. So I avoid many problems by recognizing when people aren't looking for guidance and help to walk the path but someone to fix their life FOR them. Which no one can do. If you have some questions, let me know. I'm in san diego. I also help healers develop their unique gifts and to be prosperous as they are being of service.
    Hugs of light and love,
    Linda

I personally rarely ever see a client in my home at this time, but may change this at some point. More often I will go to their home or meet them at space I rent for healing session, but I think it is fine to see someone in your home as long as you are comfortable with this and have a clear understanding of what your own rules, expectations and boundaries are and convay this to your client. I really like what Linda had to say. Always pay attention to your gut feelings or any vibes you get.

One additional thought. If you see clients in your home you may want to think about using sage or some type of cleansing ritual particularly after the session.
